With the return of school, Alpha Academy has staged its annual Club Expo. This event shines a light on the extracurricular activities which help to make student life so vibrant. By visiting a variety of booth, students get to explore different clubs they may be interested in joining.
With students’ creativity on full display at each booth, the dozens of clubs represented showcased the wide range of interests and talents found among the student population. These clubs included those within the performing and visual arts (such as photography, music and dance), academics (e.g. peer tutoring, spelling bee, and math club), and spiritual formation (e.g. the Catholic club and Bible club). Other groups included Chess club, Tourism Action club, Journalism club, Business club, Model UN club and the Debating Society. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and sign up to become members of whichever clubs interested them.
Alpha Academy understands that clubs such as these are an essential part of school life. They serve as an important way for students to express themselves creatively, form bonds with likeminded peers and explore their interests and hone their skills in areas outside of the classroom. We look forward to seeing what new clubs are added next year!
